Gators Lose Third Straight to Buccaneers in Tight Match

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Gators dropped their third straight match to the Buccaneers of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Wednesday night. The Gators came up short in the closely contested match 25-20, 25-22 and 30-28.

The Buccaneers (4-15) were led by Marie Harrison's 10 kills and 15 digs. Kendra Williams had a game-high 12 digs for Pine Manor, she chipped in with 14 digs as well. Alexa Leon also had a game-high 26 digs for the hosts.

Ashley Whiteshield and Emma Ethier both had 22 assists for their respective teams

Pine Manor drops to 2-14 on the season, while the Buccaneers improve to 4-15, with three of those victories coming in nail biting matches with the Gators.

Pine Manor will be in action this Saturday at 11:00am when they play in a tri-match at Wentworth; Salem State will be the other opponent.
