Chestnut Hill, MASS - The Lady Gators fall to University of Maine at Presque Isle in a tough home contest.
The Lady Owls stormed out of the gates scoring 4 goals in the opening period to give them the advantage before intermission. Mikaelah Tracy scored two goals along with one each by Autumn Poulin and Bethany Heald. The Lady Gators attempted two shot on goals in the opening period and were led by their goalie Jesta Gilmore with 14 saves in the period.
The second half started off quickly for the Lady Owls, within the first ten minutes they scored two goals pushing their led to 6-0 before eventually pulling away with four more goals in the period finishing the game 10-0. The Lady Owls improve to 4-6-1 with their next game October 11th on the road at Southern Maine CC with the kickoff at 12:00 PM.
Gilmore finished the game with 23 saves, the Lady Gators now fall to 0-10 on the season with their next game October 13th against Green Mountain at Hedley field with kickoff at 3:30 PM.
