Lady Gators Escape With Thrilling Victory on Senior Night

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Pine Manor Women's Basketball team won a thriller vs. Fisher College as freshman Taylor Martin connected on a game winning layup giving them the 93-91 victory.  The night was special for Anastasia Walker, Alexis Lee, Khiyana Isaac and Sybil Lynch as they played in their final home game as they were honored on senior night for all of their accomplishments.The Gators improve to 12-13 as the Falcons drop to 7-17.

Lee assisted on the game winning basket but for most of the night she was doing the bulk of the scoring finishing with a game-high 33 points as she shot an efficient 11-17 from the field also grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 5 helpers. Lynch netted 19 points and 5 assists. Erica Jones contributed 15 points and 5 assists as Martin finished with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Fisher was led by the duo of the Madison Carroll and Murphy Carroll. The sisters combined for 55 points with Madison leading the way with her 31 point 10 rebound effort as Murphy netted 24 points and 5 assists. Chrissy Briggs and Nakeeya Bodie-Smith each netted 15 points as Briggs also grabbed 8 rebounds and Bodie-Smith played an all-around game pulling down 8 rebounds and dishing 7 assists.

Pine Manor's next game will be when they will travel to North Carolina to defend their GSAC Championship.
