Lady Gators Power past Blue Angels

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – PMC weathered every storm College of New Rochelle threw at them as they won 77-66. The Gators were led offensively by Alexis Lee who notched 28 points shooting an impressive 9-17 from the field and solid 5-11 from three point range and Khiyana Isaac who contributed 13 points to go along with 9 rebounds. The Blue Angels were led by Jasmine Brandon who netted a game high 30 shooting a blazing 12-17 from the field to along with 17 rebounds as Aaliyah Fields netted 17 points.

The Lady Gators played inspired defense in the first half forcing 14 turnovers as the Blue Angels shot 34.6% from the field and 14.3% from three point range. PMC shot 37.8% from the field and 27.3% from three point range.  The Gators finished the first half up 43-27.

The Blue Angels responded in the second half outscoring the Gators 39 to 36 but the gators strong first half proved to be the difference even though the CNR made a late game push.

College of New Rochelle shot 44.6% from the field, 27.3% from three and 62.2% from the line. The Blue Angels now fall to 6-11 on the season with their next game January 23rd as they travel to College of Staten Island with a 1pm tip-off

PMC shot 37.7% from the field, 25.7% from three and 71.4% from the line. The Lady Gators now improve to 3-11 on the year with their next game January 18th as they host UMaine Augusta with a 1PM tip-off
