Gators Wrap up Regular Season on a Roll, Win 5-0

Medford, MA - Five different Gators scored goals as the Gators continue to play well at the right time of the year. The Gators will ride a three game unbeaten streak into the postseason; the Gators last allowed a goal over 325 minutes ago when they played Rivier back on October 23rd.

Jose Corrales got the scoring started in the 29th minute with an unassisted goal to put he Gators up 1-0. Eight minutes later the Valenzuela connection struck, as George Valenzuela took a feed from Giovanni and put it in the back of the net for a 2-0 bulge.

Giovanni Valenzuela would put the Gators up 3-0 early in the second half and make the lead insurmountable.

Hakeem Duncan and Brian Wade would tack some insurance later in the half. 

Giovanni and Corrales both finished the game with a goal and two assists.

Fisher did manage to out shoot the Gators 18-10; but Oscar Estrada made 7 saves to pick up the win as he and Carlos Lopez combined on the shutout.

The game was marred by physical play and tempers as the teams combined for 32 fouls and six cards (3 red and 3 yellow).

The Gators finish the regular season 6-9-2 and await their next opponent.
