Medford, Mass. – In spite of two overtime periods, neither Pine Manor College men's soccer team nor hosting Fisher College forced a goal Wednesday evening.
After 110 minutes of regulation and overtime play, the match ended in a scoreless tie.
The Falcons were the more agressive team most of the game coming out of the gates outshooting the Gators 9-3 in the opening period.
Fisher outshot the Gators in the second half 8-1 also, but again the clock expired before either team could net a ball.
Fisher remained dominant on offense in the first overtime, outshooting the Gators 4-1.
In the second overtime, the Falcons again led in total shots 2-1. But neither team was able to get on the board as time expired.
With the no-decision, Fisher moves to 4-3-2 on the season. Pine Manor moves to 7-2-1.
Fisher College will return to action Sunday, Oct. 4 as they travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. to take on The King's College at 2 p.m. Pine Manor will travel to Quincy, Mass. to take on Eastern Nazarene on Oct. 5 at 3:30 p.m.
