Wade D3 Independent Association Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Pine Manor College freshman forward Brian Wade (Connelly Springs, N.C.) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents men's soccer Player of the Week. Wade becomes the second Gator to earn the nomination joining fellow freshman Kelvin Chico (Perth Amboy, N.J.).

Wade finished the week with back-to-back two-goal games both in wins, 2-0 against Wheelock on Friday and 4-2 versus Vermont Tech on Sunday.

In the first game of the week, Wade broke the school's scoring record with his fifth and sixth of the year, scoring the game's only two goals. He now has eight goals in 2015 after his two tallies against Vermont Tech Sunday.

For the year Wade has two game-winning goals, has scored in five of nine games, and is averaging just under a goal per game at 0.89 goals per game all while leading the Gators with 16 total points.
